Arrival and public transport
  • Arrival
Right in the north of Tyrol: arrival by car is quick and easy through A7 (Ulm-Füssen) as well as A95 (Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen) for which you don't need to pay toll or buy a vignette. The airports in Munich, Memmingen & Innsbruck are all very close and only ca. 100-150 km away. If you want to come by train then Munich is the right choice since there is a direct line to the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.
  • Public transport
Guests with a valid guest card or Z-ticket of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena can use the summer buses for free within the whole region (including the new guest bus to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany). There is also a really good train connection both to Munich and Innsbruck.

...active card with benefits!

Discover the region with the Z-Ticket - your active card - and benefit from many advantages. With the purchase of your active card, you can save money: The Z-Ticket gives you free access to many facilities / means of transportation: mountain railways, boat trip, free buses, indoor & outdoor pools and much more! The real highlight is a ride to the top of the Zugspitze. The ticket is available as a 3 day to 13 day pass at every local lift. You can find all the important information about the Z-Ticket here!
